Last night was just depressing. The team looks exhausted and it is hard to blame them. The Tampa crowd has been cool, at least.

Hopefully, this little homestand and a fired up crowd can help re-energize this team a bit.

frick the Rangers. frick Harvey and God bless Texas

I sincerely hope they can get some good crowds for the Mets series. I really do agree that these guys have to be mentally drained...some of them not being with their families who are trapped in their homes. Marwin looks especially down...his pregnant wife and 2 kids under 5 are ok, but they havent been able to leave their apartment. I think he has really been distracted. I would love to see them win today to boost morale....then head home and have this evening and all day tomorrow to assess their personal lives and get back to business on Saturday. Here's hoping they get some of their swagger back.

The Astros have looked collectively like this chick...

They need to get more like this...

Are the Stros really going to choke away home field advantage?

We have virtually the same lead for best record as the Cubs do over the Brewers for their division. And you're laughing.

So, is Gattis back on the DL? I missed the news about that.

Apparently some wrist issue. Admittedly I don't follow other teams' injuries like I do the Astros, but I've never seen anything like what's happened to the team this year. I'm stunned that Gurriel is available today.

Gattis has issues, but not sure his wrist is at the top of the list.

If his wrist was the problem giving signs with every pitcher he's caught, then yeah, maybe.

Could be carpal tunnel from all the signs he has to call when he can't get on the same page with the pitchers. Which, is a lot.

A single, 2 wild pitches and a ground out get the Rangers on the board. Gonna be another good day.

And our inning falls apart because of shitet like this. There's no argument on this play. If there's a way for us to frick up an inning we will.

Of course. Could have been a big inning if not for the high strike call on 3-1. When we need an automated strike zone we can't get a high strike call. Then the ball looks above the belt and is called a strike. So much inconsistency.
