Lou has always been a quality numbers cruncher. We've praised new Jake all season but theres some uncomfortable truths lurking in the corner.
Last year he struck out at a 35% rate. This year he's striking out at a still terrible 32% rate with a .404 BAbip. For comparison sake, former DAT favorite Chris Carter struck out at a 33% rate during his time as an Astro.
Jake's still striking out a ton and has been lucky on the balls he puts in play. Hes due to come crashing back to earth.
