I’d imagine he would need 2-3 game rehab stint and there’s been nothing about when that would start so seems unlikely he’s in the lineup in Seattle but hope I’m wrong.
Good job by literally every pitcher this weekend except Montero. He’s gotta be DFA’d

I'm hoping before this baby is over, we can put a couple more runners on base and follow it up with a 3 pitch strikeout.

Sure doesn’t seem like we’ll see him anytime soon . I think Thursday was the first time he even did light activities. If it isn’t broken, it’s one of the most bizarre injuries I’ve ever heard of.

Blum is so annoyed by the shitty relief pitching usage today.

confirmed Rangers love Trump more than the diasstros

So fricking gay. 0-9 with RISP.

Cool to score 2 runs. I remember when the Rangers had 2 runs and then Espada used his worst bullpen option ahead of 4 days off.

On the team’s pregame radio show on @sportstalk790, GM Dana Brown was asked about McCullers: “He’s got his second opinion. Ultimately, I think we just have to let time heal and we can’t push him, and so we’re still hopeful he maybe gets to throwing more often and we could see him out of our bullpen in September at some point, but we have to be very cautious and let it play out.”

We did something even more impressive…got 3 weak ground outs on 4 pitches after the first 2 guys reached.

It’s so frustrating to waste 2 quality starts in a row

I won’t support Maven coffee out of protest

That is pretty damn impressive. The lack of situational awareness that has permeated the team is in direct contrast to what made them so good and so fun to watch during this Golden Era.
I don’t watch many other teams, but it seems like they’ve just slowly sank back to everyone else’s level.

This will be a much-needed 5 day rest. Happy to be between 1-2 games back from the lead considering how we started the season — never thought we would be in this position. Just a frustrating end to the first half of the season

Sure be a sweeter pill if the Angels can make a comeback here against the Mariners.

I primarily focus on the Astros as well, but I do think it’s league wide. The Rangers had the same sort of things happen yesterday with the bases loaded. I get analytics and all that, but I just can’t be convinced that a quality AB can’t be part of the equation. I mean so many times, it sure gives the appearance that guys are swinging no matter what is thrown…Meyers AB in the 7th today…I can appreciate a pitch that dives right off the plate and a hitter missing. But two of those were (and started) so far outside, he could not have hit them with a pole. And then of course, before that there was Dubon’s horrendous appearance. And both against
The lack of shortening up a swing and trying to hit sac flies in a tight game just baffles me.
