That’s so pathetic. Shitty arse reliever and you don’t even compete.

So fricking awful. Can’t ask for a better situation. Best contact hitter, the most clutch hitter in team history, and one of top quality AB guys.

Can’t get it out of the infield.

There’s always debate about the existence or meaning of “clutch”

Altuve and Bregman have a track record that pretty much excludes them from the conversation

But when you put a contact, low strikeout guy like Dubon in the 9 hole and he gives you an AB like that in that situation, you can fire away the opinions

He's lost. The last 15 games or so he's striking out at 26%. 140 full season pace.

He's unplayable right now.

I mean I know the actual stats can tell another story, but what I mean is, if I had to pick who I wanted up there, it would certainly be those two or Yordan.

Agreed, I was the most angry about his AB.

Still not as high as Loperfido’s 42%

And yet, it was this strikeout prone rookie who dugout of a 2 strike count to walk and knock Scherzer out of the game. Dubon followed that up by chasing non strikes to go down on 3 pitches

It gets forgotten about because the game eventually got out of hand, but his AB in game 6 of the ALCS last year was infuriating.

Bases loaded, LeClerc pitching after his last appearance was the Altuve soul crusher. He walked Tucker to start. So naturally Dubon swings at 3 pitches low and outside and lined out weakly.

These frickers need a break and to cut some fat and get some guys back in the worst way. This fricking lineup is so stale.

This team can not lay off the slider low and away.

Leclerc walks 5.4 per 9. He's thrown 7 pitches, 5 of them were chases outside the zone.
