Boston has a fantastic offense, pretty good starters (assuming Price isn't broken, just sucks against the Yankees), good defense, and a mediocre at best bullpen. If the starters can go deep into games, Boston has a good chance of winning the series, if they can't the Astros will win it hands down.
Agree with this. Comes down to starting pitching for Boston. I'm concerned cause no one could get out of the first inning unscathed last year, but I also don't feel that the Astros lineup is as good as it was last year.

Sounds like Margaux will just be the new backup for Julia who will also do some studio stuff. We know networks like to keep a female presence in games so it all makes sense.
Since Ashby is gone, AT&T can bring in more women without fear of complications.

Straw has more potential value than Gattis, I think.

Season before last Tampa had Alex Corddry, who I met up close and personal. She was so fine, I wish it was her.

You looking for hotels or bars/food?
Like list, I am not the best at downtown but I can give the old college try

Hotel
I prefer walking to the game, staying around the stadium, cost not a real factor, but if I have to Uber in and out and can't walk, I just as soon stay at a place convenient and cost efficient that won't be a big issue getting to and from by Uber with traffic, and safe for the kids, etc.

You need to get you some relatives that live downtown Houston
. My Aunt and Uncle live downtown Houston and makes it so nice for trips over there. Never have to worry about hotel or anything, they tell me just come stay with them and I can walk to the ballpark.

Are you watching at Minute Maid or looking for a place to watch? Not sure I understand the question
Any hotel downtown will be easy. I would suggest Hotel Icon, the JW,Magnolia or Lancaster since I know Wahoocs only rolls in style
Since the Stros are on the road for those games it shouldn’t be too expensive
Marriott Marquis you can walk easy as well

Nvm I saw you’re talking World Series. My post still stands, that’s what I would recommend. Some are a little further hike back toward Main but you can still walk, like 1/2 to 3/4 mile at most. Marquis is the most convenient out of the ones I listed

If you want more hotel options, you can stay anywhere right along the Metro Rail. It's super convenient on game days.

You can stay at my house for free and I will be your personal chauffeur all week for a SRO ticket. I'll wear the hat and everything.

Gattis playing time has dwindled to nothing but with short left fields in both ball parks, is his power threat worth carrying? Myles Straw is fast as hell but with Marisnick on the roster is he necessary in a pinch running only roster spot?
Who demonstrated more value in the last series?
Gattis 0/2 as a PH with one K
Straw 2 PR appearances, 1 run scored, 1 SB

Yeah I would rather Straw over Gattis for sure. Even with Marisnick, Straw was able to contribute a bit on the bases against the Indians, and despite having short left fields in Boston and Houston, Gattis hasn't been hitting well lately anyway, so he's not really much use for us IMO. I would think if Hinch does carry an extra pitcher like he says, and deciding between Straw and Gattis, I think Gattis gets left off. I think.

I would be fine with leaving Gattis off then bringing him back for the WS since we will need more hitting options off the bench

WS Tues night is booked as far as I could manage walking with an entourage, or so it would seem.
