Altuve has no business suiting up the remainder of this series. Idgaf if he’s a future HoF’er or not

I’d even rather Kimbrel in the 9th now

get a hit ever inning for first 8 innings, score 3 runs…then go out with a whimper in 9th and fail with ghost runner once again

sad

You mean total failure by your closing pitcher and base runners.

Only to compare to last week’s incredible loss where we couldn’t score with RISP for how many ABs? 10? More?

Amazing how we continue to top those awful losses. Stick a fork in the Astros.

I dare say it may be time for the DAT to die.

This offense has been like this for at least 4 years now. Even the championship team in '22 was a pitching first, run prevention club. They've been an inconsistent offense before finally turning into a tough watch offensively on a consistent basis.

I mean, it survived the 100+ loss years. So this is a bump in the road. However, the golden era may be behind us.

Agreed on this. And it’s compounded by an inconsistent bullpen. This is 3 out of 4 games Abreu’s yakked. He blew 2 of the 3 and allowed the Yankees to get within 1 in the other…even then he got bailed out by a bad call.

But, and I know we’ve had contributions to the shitshow from pretty much everyone, most of this is Altuve. This team can just not have him playing like this. I mean he’s pretty much an automatic out and his defense is so bad that Alvarez is a better option. And now it really looks like he’s pouting, which I never thought I’d see from him.

We are running out of starting pitchers. We don’t have a closer. Can’t move runners.

Seattle is 1 game back. Rangers are 2 1/2 back. We have 3 games left with each of these teams.

Looks like a third place finish at best. No playoffs.

I hope we miss the playoffs entirely. Put us out of our misery

Sad to see what the team has become, but this whole season has basically been a redo of the Tigers shoving our dicks in the dirt for 3 games last playoffs

The golden era is officially over
