You still have to go from 3rd though. Even if you are out, you stay out of the double play. Would rather have 1st and 2nd with 1 out than runner at 3rd and 2 out.

That’s what the espn app pitch tracker looked like. Ball is completely inside the box. When an ump misses that kind of pitch he should be fined.

Infuriating when calls like that get missed. I get no one is perfect and border line calls happen but that entire pitch was completely in the zone
