Tells me Yordan is the starting left fielder and Tuve is DH'ing, but we will see I've been wrong too many times to count.
Delgado covers the IF now in case you need to hit for Allen or run for Walker, Lope is just a better athlete and fielder than Wade, but I'd probably have Wade over Velazquez.

I was typing out a similar post and got sidetracked.
I am more upset with no Lamonte and getting Trammell.
As I mentioned in previous posts, it’s not like any of these guys are huge difference makers, but Trammell has been arguably one of the worst players in baseball the last few months.
And Loperfido, who couldn’t buy getting called up during the last half of the season other than Trammell’s paternity leave, suddenly is on the playoff roster.
Just trying to understand the logic.

They did include Lambert, so I guess they think they can get something from him if needed.
I actually see a strategy developing for Imai being on the roster. He will be the guy they use if they get down 5-6 runs....so he is a good pairing with Sousa and King, who are likely to be the reason they get down 5-6 runs.

Jose has been playing pretty good defense lately.
Lope hasn't given you much of anything lately. Wade is more versatile and actually takes some pitches.

Of the entire group of random spare parts in the outfield, he is probably the best defensively. That has to be the reason he made the cut.

Personally, if Brice or Varsho was healthy, I don't think Trammell is here. 0 for his last 20 at bats.

Sigh…your scenario should have been the play, especially with our little league outfield dimensions, but our shite for brains management thought otherwise.
Scoring runs at home has been our Achilles heel, especially in the playoffs, for years now, so it would’ve made sense to try and start as much offense as possible. But no.
