Lambert is starting.
I can't imagine he can go more than 2.
62 pitches Thursday.
I don't like the move. Not that there are a ton of great options.

Yep I just saw Romes tweet. Kudos to Lambert he’s done everything this team has needed and 10xs more. Dude is a warrior hope he can give us 2 innings

So for starting pitchers, day 3 after a start is usually a 20-pitch bullpen session (per Google, but this sounds right). Maybe we can get 2 innings?
How the Day 3 Bullpen is Structured
The Simulated "Innings": Pitchers typically split their bullpen session into two "innings" or blocks of 10 to 15 pitches.
The Sitting Break: Between these blocks, the pitcher will step off the mound and sit down on the bench for 5 to 7 minutes. This deliberately simulates the rest period they experience when their own team is batting.
Game-Like Pacing: Even within a single block, pitchers do not rush. They take 15 to 20 seconds between individual pitches to reset their mechanics, practice their breathing, and visualize an opposing batter.
