Bennett Sousa with bases loaded and a 4 run lead is certainly a choice.

Sox manager was an idiot for pinch hitting there.

Nick the stick kinda rules.

Think he will finish with a similar OPS+ as Dubon. Decent trade at the end of the day even though the Astros missed Dubon’s versatility to be a borderline competent hitter and playing outfield for a majority of the season.

Can Imai be sent down? I mean if they’re not gonna use him, why not call someone up?

For lacking the ideal tools for a third baseman (range and arm strength), he does everything almost as good as you can at third.

Like Bagwell said, his accuracy across the demand is very special.

And oh weird Sousa gives up left handed damage

That sounds familiar now that you say it. Pretty bush league from Crane honestly. I mean it’s one thing if they were 20 games under, but it’s pretty much shitting on the fans to essentially play shorthanded when you’re allegedly competing for the playoffs

Why not pull him after the homer? Let him put another guy on. Just stupid.

ETA. Lucky. Very lucky.

There might/probably was some directive from Crane to avoid him, but also gotta remember how retarded and bad Joe is at anything bullpen related.

So even if there was a lane to use him it’s a coin flip that Joe could even make the correct decision.

Up 3 here, it’s aggressive but you are where you are, you could let him start the 8th with a quick hook after he faces three especially with the roster opening up tomorrow

I suggested that when I started the DAT a few days ago. There have to be farm animals or little boys involved.

And in other news, the Mariners havs become an absolute clusterfrick. 5 straight losses. Offense puts up 8 tonight, then bullpen pisses all over a 3 run lead in the 8th.

Maybe all their starting pitchers and the Big Fatass behind the plate had career years last year and regression to the mean hit them hard this year.
