Did Reddick finally bow down and get cucked? Looks like he supported the anti-law and order protest yesterday

Winning bull is still winning bull, regardless of the political climate.

Didn’t watch. Did check gamecast intermittently. Glad tucker is becoming the hitter we hoped he’d be.

Haven’t decided whether I’m gonna watch anymore or not.

I wonder if anyone asked Yuli or yordan what they think about the protests and oppression? Surely they can comment on what an oppressive regime looks like and if the Jacob Blake situation resembles one

Man this fricking sucks. A couple days ago this thread would have been popping today. Beating Oakland, good Lance, Tucker raking, Greinke on the mound. Now even the DAT hates the Astros. This social justice propaganda shite is like a fricking infection. Nov 3rd can’t get here fast enough.

I don’t watch the news (minus a couple hurricanes) and don’t have social media. Baseball is my outlet, and when it’s played I watch it muted to drown out the politics. I usually play 90’s gangsta rap or some occasional ska and it makes it better.

ETA: Tucker is raking, his baserunning is a deficiency though.

Obviously the political shite is the main cause but I think part of it is how underwhelming we’ve been all season. If we were smoking opponents and fully healthy I have a feeling some might be a little more forgiving about last night. Maybe not forgiving, of course still disagreeing with the whole thing, but I guess have more desire to continue watching.

Lol I got carried away with the melt, but I hope Bregman and Correa each stub their toe when each wakes up, at a minimum

I have an MLB app subscription and my old man does (I got it for him as a Christmas gift or some shite). He asked me to cancel and I'll be doing that for both of us on Monday. Don't know how else to vote with my wallet, but I'm for sure done going to games.

Why do we need more voting locations? If you’re a registered voter, you already have a precinct.

This really becomes opening sports arenas as an incentive to get people to vote. After all, nobody has been barred from voting or has had access to voting limited. And since plenty of local and state governments have turned COVID into a political charade, why is is OK for people to gather at sporting arenas that hold 15,000+ people to vote but you can’t go into certain places that hold less than 100 people because of COVID?

Twenty percent of all NBA players are registered to vote. If this means that much to these players, then go register to vote.

The team had a perfect easy opportunity to promote real social justice and healing directly to their hurting fanbase 1.5-2 hours away. They could have donated their time and money yesterday in some poor communities when they boycotted the game. Instead they just sat in the locker room at Minute Maid and said empty rhetoric.

Why? They aren't college athletes and are worth 10s of millions... who cares? I know many people worse off than they are physically. Bregman's people came to the U.S. for religious liberty and human rights and he's going to lecture us about this subject? I don't care if this isn't PC or offends people. Same type of thing applies to Correa. frick him

So I haven’t watched much lately, but is the consensus that Tucker is gonna make it?
