Just got a call about an offer for Uncle Mike23 from a Braves message board but I told them we need more for a young DATer with so many years of control.

The only scenario in which we’d take on SteelersBraves Dawgs is if the Barves take back LSugranddad and Abreu’s dead money

Can we make a tax-free donation of littleavery and JerrytheBawler when he returns from ban-land?

Angels just gave the Rangers the game

Rangers have been collecting gifts on a frequent basis. Not over, but lkkely

I will offer myself up for the Braves board in exchange for just a WS appearance vs the Cubs

I would spend my days waxing poetic about Biff Pocoroba and Gene Garber

I could do that. In the 1982-84 range when the Astros sucked and the Braves were good, like most people I watched a lot of Braves games. And I swear Garber pitched in about 80% of them.

The Rangers won a WS with a bullpen as bad as this one

The Angels went HAM on Jon Gray. 3 hits, 3 BB, 4 runs in relief in the 6th

About “79-“80, we went from antenna to basic cable in the trailer while building the family home I sold a couple years ago after my dad passed (his bday today)

TBS was daily baseball along with WGN. I took in any and all sports. Still diehard Astros, but knew the Braves and Cubs better than anybody else

I absolutely can name more of the starting lineups for the 1982 Braves and 1984 Cubs than I can the Astros from those years.

And I will go to my grave believing the 1982 Braves were the least talented division winner ever. But a lot of guys had better years than their career average and the rest of the division was mediocre.

I mean, what part of Rafael Ramirez, Glenn Hubbard, and Bruce Benedict screams "championship"

Different era

Imagine a decade or so before with the higher mound and pitchers getting 30 Ws

Fleece them if you can, but be warned, I have a lot left to give. Lots of very hidden potential. I’ll be in the DAT to watch Gusto shove this afternoon.

Tigerfan91 the first DATer to get to start consecutive threads in a while, very exciting stuff.

This is the type of ‘offensive explosion’ that I was referencing them having prior to going back ice cold immediately after. Hope they keep it rolling.

Four game lead in the division and 1.5 games back of the best record in the AL, what a wild ride this has been.
