Ryno's son went oppo and Leon crushed another bomb. Keith Law got so mad that he now ranks the Astros farm 31st behind the Tokyo Yakult Swallows

Leon might be at peak sell high territory. He is not a shortstop and might our 3 or 4th best CF option in the system now

I'd really like to know what his value is around the league. If you believe analysts, Leon and Ryno's son are junk.

They want to come around on Diaz but they just can't bring themselves to it. The guy can really fricking hit.

Yeah Diaz I don’t get. A guy who hits like that and can at least catch a little?

Leon I think depends on the org and how they value contact skills, because I don’t think his recent small sample means shite. Through two regimes I think it’s obvious we value it pretty highly. Washington is hard to gauge, Miami I don’t think cares much. But he can be a plus CF I think.

Would be interested to see the batted ball data on Valdez. If he’s top end exit velos I don’t get why you wouldn’t buy in at least a little

I think the complaint with Diaz has been too many ground balls but he certainly seems to be working on that. When you have his contact skills and exit velos, you're an exciting prospect. Get the swing elevated just right, and he's a masher.

Valdez doesn't have that problem because he clearly knows how to elevate the ball.

From what I know Sugar Land is pretty pitcher friendly so I don’t really get the hesitation on Valdez aside from he might not have a position. But he gets basically zero play producing like that at AAA.

I will stick by my theory that scouts hate the Astros for past transgressions, we will see if it’s suddenly forgotten when their team needs to make a deal with them in the next few weeks
