I'm glad the move was made. Williams wasn't working out and it was time to cut ties. I do feel bad for him though. From everything I've heard about him, he's a great guy...just not a good pitcher anymore. Can't be a fun feeling to know you've been fricking shite up and then you get called in and essentially told you're fired.

A bit surprised to see Santana before September and I hope he isn't being rushed, but another real talent on the big league roster is exiting.
With 3 minor leaguers + Bass up and only Villar and Williams gone, theres still a couple of roster moves to make.

Hernandez could be a surprise. He has absolutely raked at OKC. He can't be any worse than Villar.

Wow! Did not expect all of these call ups so soon. Should be fun!
Edit: I'm thinking this means Fowler to the DL and this might just be a two week introduction to the bigs for Santana. What other moves can be made? Guzman out? Downs? I'm really want to see who else is gone.
