Week in review:
- Dropped 2 vs Baltimore
- Took 2 vs Bawston
- Teng made his first start. 3IP 5H 2 ER. Have a feeling many of his starts are just going to be bullpen days and he's the opener
- Yordan named AL player of the month
- Cocksuck now has a higher WAR than Yordan. He's had a big start to the season. Must be the stache
- Scored 1 run on 11 hits Friday vs Sox. 1 run was a HR from Carlito
- Spaghetti might be our ace. 4-0 on the season with a sub 2.00 ERA
- We finally won an extra-inning game
- Chandler if you're reading this, you're still a bitch and your media credential is useless
Injury updates:
- Brown: 15-day IL; throwing at 120 feet
- Pena: 15-day IL; hamstring; no update on return
- Imai: 15-day IL; scheduled for 5 May start in Sugar Land
- Hader: 60-day IL; scheduled for 5 May appearance in Sugar Land
- Loperfido: 10-day IL; quad strain; on a running program
- Dezenzo: 10-day IL; 7-23 at the plate in his rehab assignment; no update on return
- Wesneski: 60-day IL; no update
- Bolton: 15-day IL; back
- Javier: 15-day IL; shoulder; no update
- Meyers: 15-day IL; oblique strain; no update
- Trammell: 10-day IL; groin; no update
Looking ahead:
3 vs Dodgers

I went down an AI Rabbit Hole on the MLB record for a season for losses for a team that outhit their opponent in those losses, but that record was not specifically tracked
The Astros do however hold the record for most missed games by players placed on the IL in a season last year, and could possibly be the back to back champs in this category.

Today:
Recalled Zach Cole
Designated Daniel Johnson for assignment
Reinstated Zach Dezenzo off IL and sent him to Sugarland

Oh cool, didn’t know Cole was that close to being back. That’s a nice surprise.
Daniel Johnson, I’d like to thank you for *checks notes* pretty good left-left sac bunt against Chapman yesterday that did not advance the runner
Also, fine with leaving Dezenzo down and keeping Harris. He looked fine last week and can come off the bench as a much needed LHH until Joey is back

frick Tucker, more weak contact bullshite against this already shitty staff then compound it with a walk.
Freaking got the first two outs so easily too.

First two batters on 4 pitches too.
In theory he did his job got the 3 lefties to make soft contact that have to be outs of a K
Nice job by Weiss
We will take the weak contact back!

Walker has now K’d 4 times in 7 ABs vs Yamamoto

I'll take the lead for however long it lasts.

I could do without Matthews swinging at 3-1 offspeed pitches, period.
But when the pitcher is struggling too
It was nice to see Tuve cash in after Paredes worked that base

Which was not for very long. I'd prefer never to see Ryan Weiss in an Astros uniform again. What a shitty signing.

Gotta love when the OF who got an atrocious read on 1 run scoring hit and straight up whiffs another chance makes a first pitch out
