Unbelievable. One mistake pitch and/or bad misjudgment by kemp who didn’t exactly take off at top speed costs us a run. We better fricking give Verlander some damn run support.

Seemed like a late/bad read on a ball hit pretty hard, and it got over his head a bit.

Well, either our coaching staff positioned him shallow or he decided to play shallow. But he didn’t take off like the ball was struck as hard as it was, then he slowed up and turned his back and the ball bounced about 8 to 10 feet behind him and he kind of trotted to the wall to get it. The ball hit about 8 feet from the warning track.
