So is the Astros lineup. No Brantley or Yuli. Bregman hitting second. Diaz fourth, ahead of Tucker and Peña.
In case you’re wondering, Diaz is 0-for-4 lifetime against Otto with 2 Ks, so not a situation where he’s got great lifetime numbers against a pitcher.

We’ve had the core lineup starting 10 times so far this season. Undefeated in those games.
14-14 in the others. It’s almost like playing the best guys results in success.

Long travel night, rest needed, injuries earlier this season, blah, blah, blah. I don’t have as much trouble with two guys sitting out tonight and Bregman needed to sit last night because he’s sucked for a month-plus now.

Probably a gut feeling based on that time he batted Troy O'Leary cleanup for the 2003 Cubs against the Brewers and he ended up 2/3 with a bomb and 4 RBI.
