So, did Altuve live through the night?

Making progress on the eastern front. Need to keep pushing those lines further and further.

So the rangers are starting an “opener” tonight. Not sure who but Chavez was the scheduled starter. Saw it flash on mlb network.

Chavez is the opener. He'll pitch 1 inning and then Drew Smyly takes over.

Bumgarner says he would veto a trade to Houston (as well as all other contenders).

Well then he’s stupid and can rot in San Francisco.

Taking the Adam Jones “I’m going down with the ship” approach”?

It gives him leverage to demand an extension with those teams that most likely would be trying to acquire him.

Exactly. What he says in May doesn't mean shite. That said, he has no reason to ring chase so he may want to try to force the Giants' hand to re-sign him.

But if they won't commit to an extension by mid-July, he should okay a trade to get rid of the draft pick compensation.

Bad news. Lou blew through the funds allotted for Bionic Altuve. The Landing Strip ran out of egg rolls on the buffet last night so he threw a chair through the sneeze guard.

Fortunately, we've acquired Santa Anna's leg as a more budget conscious solution.
