Whitley pitched the relief portion of the tandem today and got whacked.

3IP 4H 4ER 1BB 5SO (4 extra base hits 2HR)

They jumped on him out of the gate. First inning went

Groundout
Double
Walk
HR

I wonder if he’s he’s working on something specifically, or is having control issues (like last outing)

A bit concerning

Also I’m not sure if anyone has been following the rise of HR’s in AAA, but it is staggering. Apparently they’ve switched to the MLB ball and everyone is banging out HRs

Chimmichurri is still having a better offensive season than Realmuto

And he should be our 2nd catcher but we like 2nd catchers that hit .105.

2nd catchers have 0 bearing on a season outcome except Incase on injury.

Not true- and if you really think Chirinos will be better over the course of a season than Realmuto you’re crazy. And Chirinos is not having a better season anyway- look up their numbers.

And you’re missing the point- its too late for Realmuto... Im pointing out that our untouchables that we refused to move for big time talent aren’t exactly tearing it up this year.

I did, and he is.

132 WRC+, 2.5 OWAR for Chirinos
106, 2.0 for Realmuto

Obviously they are going to play bad all year.

I’ll lean towards the guy that brought a WS to Houston over a message board poster.

If I ever catch an opponent's home run, I'm not throwing it back. I'm 100% keeping that shite.
