He does that when it’s 100 out.

I will say I think the upside is higher with Luis. Urquidy is what he is, throws strikes and pitches to contact. Best case is probably a start similar to Game 2 for him and there is some potential to get shelled early. Luis if on can straight shut a team down for 4-5 innings.

FWIW, our betting odds keep creeping up. From -115 to -125 to -130.

We could really use one of those. Going against Fried makes me doubtful it's going to be tonight, but hey you never know.

He's gonna have to get his life together against lefties. They're making an absolute clown of him right now. He chases off speed sweeping off the plate and then they come high and inner half and his eyes aren't ready so he fouls off fastballs he should destroy.

Yea I’m just trying to speak it into existence. He’s proven he can do it (see: Chris Sale) so let’s hope the ebb gives way to the flow this evening

Yed had a higher OPS against lefties this year so we all know he's more than capable. Kind of want to give him some slack for his AB's against Minter, Matzek and Smith because those dudes are tough, but he hasn't earned the slack because the at bats are so uncompetitive with zero adjustments made.

Then of course the at bat he completely threw away against Smyly on Sunday leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Pretty down on him, doesn't look competitive or hitterish right now, hopefully getting back home fixes him.

Yed has been getting pitched very tough. When he was rocking Sale and the other Red Sox lefties, they were leaving the ball just enough over the plate for him to rake. Right now the Braves are executing their pitches perfectly against him low/outside and up/in. Hopefully Yed sees a couple mistakes with a little more plate and I have faith he will punish them.

After the 1st inning on Sunday it hit me - I rarely ever get to watch the 'stros. Most of my time lately is spent driving and this team obviously does well when I listen on the radio. I was sick for Game 2 and didn't watch - the stros won. So after that disaster of a first inning on Sunday I turned off the tv and came to my internet box machine and loaded up SXM, and the turnaround started.
This is where I will be tonight, I'll watch zero minutes. LFGStros!

They have been pitching around him, he has walked in all but one game. Normally everyone else around isn’t complete arse so teams have to pitch to him.

There has been several ABs where he shouldn’t even swing but it’s hard to tell a guy with his skills that.

I want to see him murder one tonight. Upper deck, explode a slump
