I am from houston and went LSU so I can feel I can weigh in here. The Braves, rangers, Astros and cubs I get because they were on tv every day. The Astros, Braves and cubs were generally pretty good during the majority the poster’s childhood summers. So i get that people just land on one. Most people have families in Houston, dallas and Atlanta so those were the biggest fanbases.
The Sox and Yankees fans are just front runners or contrarians.
