Well, you may want to drink closer to your hotel. But after the game I would just walk across the street to the HTX place and enjoy the insane crowd (assuming Stros win). Some homers might bust your balls a little about the Yankees hat but someone else might see it and buy you a beer you're ballsy enough to keep it on.

There's also a little intersection across the freeway with about 3 sports bars that should be busy. Lucky's, Little Woodrows, and like a smaller version of Lucky's.
You could walk or grap a pedicab and walk around once you're there. There's always a contingent of away fans at Lucky's.

*and I definitely agree with ListEater about drinking Downtown over Hay Merchant. Conservatory has a great beer selection but just beer.

Losing 2-1 to apperntly the beat AL team ever assembled at home I'll take it. Don't act so excited guys. Remember we were gonna be an easy series

Get the frick out of here with this crap.

The DAT people have been saying that any of the remaining teams have the talent to win it all. No one has come close to implying this series is over... nor has there been anyone saying that it will be easy.

Go troll somewhere else wagon-boy.

So I plan on hitting Hay Merchant before the game, what about after.

Downtown after

Could see Conservatory before if you wanted to, but Hay Merchant might have better food. Can also do Conservatory after if you are so inclined but Main Street area after the game will be the main place to be that is walking distance after y'all lose IMO. Have a good time and try not to melt like some of these other clowns.

Conservatory has better food, imo. Push on beer.
