Sox fan.
Most of us speculated Rodon, due to the low number of innings he's pitched in the last few seasons due to injuries, would get a phantom injury toward the end of the season in order to control his IP prior to the playoffs. In other words, his health concerns have all been a smokescreen.

I’ve heard several announcer types say the ball really carries to left field in the afternoons.

The Sox don't look like the team on the verge of eliminating. They're playing confident, loose, feeding of the energy of the crowd. Meanwhile the Astros have no runs and just 1 hit in the last 6 innings.

The G-Spot is a bandbox. Weather is a bit cool today so less carry than usual but win is right to left which could push some balls out to left
