Neither team has anything to play for. Although both teams get 3 days off, I wouldn’t expect many starters to get more than a few ABs.

ETA: was on vacation last 2 weeks ago and had a shite week at work last week. Haven’t been watching/posting much

I saw another poster mention this yesterday, but I kinda wish someone else would start today and then have McHugh come out of the pen and pitch 3-4 innings.
The most worrisome thing about having these starters in the pen next week is that none of them besides Peacock have any experience in warming up quickly and coming into the middle of a game

And I’m assuming we won’t get any word about game times for Thursday and Friday until after the Yankees and Twins play?
Makes me think that we get stuck with the day games when NYY wins because if they were gonna put us at night then why not go ahead and announce it?
I totally understand the NYY market, but I think it’s a huge mistake by MLB to put Verlander vs Sale during the afternoon, especially cause Houston and New England aren’t exact small markets either

I think these guys would have to be coming in on a new inning. It’ll be planned, so maybe they can warm up a little more normally.
