When he gets a hold of one, he can hit it a long long way. His homers are some of the most fun to watch. Problem is he can't make enough contact to be a viable major leaguer.

Brownie and Ash were just talking about Carter.
They think he might be a late bloomer. If the light comes on for him, he could be one of the best power hitters in the AL.
Said he wouldn't be the first player to have a late start to his career.

I was hopeful going into this year. Last year he hit 29 homers while basically doing nothing in half his games. He was a nightmare at home and great on the road. He could have hit 35 homers last year if he had a pulse in MMP. This year though, he's regressed to being bad on the road too. I just don't think he can overcome the lack of contact and be a regular threat.
