Problem is that Space Mountain really should have gone out with dignity about 10-15 years ago yet Naitch still needs the money.
Granted, he has made some dumb decisions over the years he has admitted to which cost him a ton of money, including settling with WCW in 1998 rather than pushing his suit which would have gotten him a ton of money but would have sidelined him indefinitely from the ring.

well we are on a site where a LOT of people prefer college football to pro
Not a direct comparison. Triple A and MLB are all professionals. College football, despite recent changes, is still the amateur level.

From the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry.

This is a horrible take. Lets totally ignore WWE's declining television ratings and attendance figures year over year. The only thing keeping them afloat is brand recognition, TV deals, and Saudi blood money.
As it stands, AEW is outselling WWE in New York at the brand new UBS arena. Not close either, on The Feds home turf.
That Cena bump is done.

Then why won't AEW release financials for 2020 like WWE did?

Check the ticket prices for each and how long they’ve been for sale.
And WWE just had literally the highest grossing Smackdown of all time at MSG. I doubt they care about the C venue in the city.
But please tell me more about how the company that earns less than $60 million a year from ALL of itstv deals is beating the company that gets paid $205 million a year for just ONE of its live shows.

Which is a blow off live event by the way

True business insiders (not the dirtsheets) put AEW’s total 2020 revenue between $70-80 million. Their expenses were higher than their revenue.
Meanwhile, WWE earned ~ $1 billion last year and will earn over $1 billion this year, probably closer to $1.5 billion.

Yeah I know WWE made a profit of over $130 million which is insane considering the pandemic and everything. Their most profitable year even during the Attitude Era was about $85 million.

If the roster was over and the booking was hot, it wouldn’t matter. When Cena was doing house shows this summer, they were selling. He’s off the circuit now. They don’t have an over roster. A very talented one, mind you, destroyed by bad booking.

AEW has added 12 former WWE guys in the last 6 months and still can't sell out arenas with capacities under 10k.
But please tell me how a hockey arena ticket sales show that Fed ded.

After watching this episode and knowing nothing about the Plane Ride From Hell previously, I'm sorry, but they're portraying this incident like there was a gang rape and murder or something, and it's just not the case.
I've had shite done to me by drunken women, whom I did not want to sleep with, way worse than that flight attendent. I've had women bite me, corner me, flash me, make them feel their tits, force themselves upon me, lick me, grab my crotch, scratch me, etc, and I wasn't attracted to them and didn't want it to happen, but in no way was I ever "scarred" or "terryfied" or even thought it was anything more Than a drunken dumbass girl doing drunken dumbass things.
The most egregious part of this story by far, is the fact that Kurt Henning was going around drugging people's drinks and causing them to pass out so badly, that others thought they were dead. If Scott Hall's drinks actually were spiked, a guy who already had a tremendous drug problem, then he should have been more pissed than anyone. And he got fired because of it.
Tommy Dreamer also probably genuinly thinks that plane ride was child's play compared to the insane shite he saw in ECW.
I'm also incredibly stunned that WWF did not make those stewardesses sign NDAs as part of their settlements to avoid exactly what this episode focused on.

Dan Severn wrestled for PW225 (local independent promotion) last year... it was not a pleasant sight. He is not in wrestling shape, due to his age.

It sounded like the wrestlers serially date raped women like it was part of their job. I guess it’s not that surprising but they were pretty candid about it on this doc.
What most fans fail to realize is that this behavior wasn't the exception, it was the norm. The "boys" would literally target women in bars who had left their drinks unattended, or would offer to buy one a drink and then spike it. Once she was incapacitated, they'd do as they pleased, and the next morning they'd be on the way to the next town to do it all over again. Guys like Mike Chioda reaped the benefits because he hung out with the boys and got all of the leftovers, so of course he was all for it. Scott Hall was a notorious pos... does anyone remember when he was arrested in BR for groping the 56-year old woman outside his hotel?
Love how Dustin was serenading his ex (Terri) one minute, and was telling the flight attendant, "You and me are gonna frick" the next

Dude came across as carnival white trash, don't know why, but he just had that vibe.
I knew old days wrestlers were notoriously pieces of shite, but I didn't know they were regularly drugging and raping women. Were there any decent dudes in the business back in the day or were they all pretty much shite-heels?
