Florida State has faced 8 backup QB's this year in the worst conference in college football and has a combined opponent record of 67-76. They've only beaten 4 teams with a winning record and not a single team with a double-digit win record. They are not one of the 4 best teams.

That's why I've always though the polls were bullshite.
Highly ranked team wins on a last second miracle over a shite team and they don't drop a single spot. If that miracle doesn't come through they drop a few, or a lot depending on who it is.

Or, it reiterated regular season games do matter. Lsu was the highest ranked opponent fsu faced all season. They were the 4th best team bama played. Teams shouldn't be rewarded for a SOS in the 60s, and that's after the conference game bump.

Yeah, I do thats why its stupid to say the games dont matter. They do matter. What conference you're in also matters. What your SOS is matters bc all college football schedules are not the same. Thats why Liberty isnt in the CFP right now.
