This whole thing is retarded if its a boxing match.

Floyd's typical guarantee is $32M so offering 25 isn't a terrible starting point. The issue would be the PPV split because that's where Floyd usually makes hay being his own promoter but I'm assuming the UFC would want to be cut in on that along with Conor and Floyd.

I was thinking 50 for Floyd, 35 for Conor, 15 for UFC.

The only way I would agree to this if I'm CM is if there is one fight with pure boxing rules and a 2nd fight a few months later with at least some minor MMA mixed in.

No way Floyd agrees to that.

They need to settle on the rules first. If it's straight boxing, I'm not watching.

There has to be some sort of hybrid set up here.

I'm not going to watch tennis players go play against ping pong players or vice versa. So why force one guy to abandon his sport for the sake of the other?

Of course he wouldn't, just like CM shouldn't agree to do a straight boxing match.

Difference is, Conor wants that big payday. It's no big deal to Floyd. Floyd has the leverage.

Conor's the bigger draw here, not Floyd

Would love to see it both ways, as in the early rules of UFC 1,2. etc... Just wide open.

I wouldn't watch Floyd fight again kf his fight was free and on NBC. Floyd fighting mcgregor would be something I might consider purchasing

This whole thing is stupid. If it's a punching competition, Floyd wins. If it's an actual fight, then McGregor kills Mayweather.

Conner actually kind of is the draw b/c nobody wants to see Floyd fight his typical overmatched or past his prime opponent.

This isn't his typical over matched opponent but he is by far the most over matched opponent. He would be embarrassingly humbled after that beating.
