fricking Tom Rinaldi... I was hoping they’d change his style with a new station. He’s good at his job - but his job (within the pre-game shows) sucks.

Rinaldi is an auto change the channel for me. I have no want to watch the shite he puts together. If I wanted a sob story I'd watch a soap opera

I don’t understand the hire at all.

And I don’t understand doing it simply to add sad af stories to your pregame.

Who was clamoring for this?

Is his story about the time Pat Mahomes was shot and killed by the police?

100%. Dude does sports human interest stories really well. They could do some really good pieces.

If I had to guess some unfortunate fan of one of these teams, more than likely a child, more than likely with cancer, paraplegia, or whose parents were killed in a horrible way.

Said child is extremely brave and likely a much better human than all of us.

It was this more or less. Kid with cancer won a competition to design Aaron Jones’ cleats. Kid dies. Everyone cries.

I always change the channel when he does one of his death or disease of the week. Life can be hard enough and we watch sports for escape from reality.

He should just get a show on Lifetime or Hallmark channel. I wonder if he left ESPN because they got tired of his gimmick or realized they can pay someone cheaper to do the same thing.
