The Cowboys are merely a QB away from being competitive in the NFC.

12-4 is what it is looking like at this point Calvin.
NFL always ensures that the Giants will win no matter what. Dez Bryant was clearly in bounds yesterday. He had to put himself in danger but stuck out his hand to brace himself form injury. The NFL says they care about player safety and then they penalize the man for bracing himself from certain broken back and elbow. Yesterday really counts as W in my book.

Totally agree. This is how I feel about the Saints. I mean, they want player safety, and our defense tries to not hit the other team. But then they just run around or through our defense. Our players are trying to play fair and not hit defenseless receivers, but they just don't give a shite.

Agreed. Your example with Dez was a good one. How is the guy supposed to protect himself and stay in bounds? Not possible in that situation.

Cowboys D is actually leading in 3&outs going into yesterday's game. I'm sure they are still on top because they had the Giants at 2 of 10 3rd downs in the 4th quarter.
Why we can't have a good D and Offense in the same season is beyond me.

He isn't, he is supposed to choose. He chose wisely probably. He showed great athletic ability that we all know is there, he showed heart that we didn't know was there, and he kept himself from getting TOO hurt.
Still counts as a loss in my book though Ryno

Nah, you can't lose like that. If a guy is trying to protect himself then he's in. Make that a win in my book also.
