shite sign Gurley in the 2/3 round behind our line?

I'm a happy camper with him on a rookie contract.

Thats what I'm saying.

People underrate Karlos Williams though IMO. He runs mad.

I think if his knee fully heals, he will be the best RB in the draft. Gurley's suspension and Nick Chubb made a lot of people forget just what a freak talent TG3 is.

This is a great sign for the.future of the.cowboys. I think Garrett has the reigns firmly in his hand now and that is a good thing.

Gurley is made of glass. He didn't go a single season without injury at Georgia. I don't trust him unless we can get him in at least the 3rd.

ESPN reporting that Dallas only offered Murray 4/$24M with $12M guaranteed.

Glad that the FO stuck to their guns and didn't cave with a stupid contract for a running back.

Yeah, I would much rather go DL or LB in round one and then hope someone like Gordon falls to you in the second. Gurley at 27 just isnt worth it.

Cowboys just signed Darren McFadden to a two year deal.

7 years later, Jerry finally gets his man

DMC is a huge risk, imo... Who knows, though? #fingerscrossed

Depends on the guaranteed money. Hopefully it's low

Interested to see what kind of money they gave him. Personally, I like the move.

Also, Twitter reports are saying that Dallas and Stevan Ridley could be close to a deal.

Ridley/McFadden combo could be nice. both of them fit well with the style of running game Dallas wants to run.

Signed LB Jasper Brinkley

LINK

quote:

A 2009 fifth-round draft pick, Brinkley has 33 career starts – all at middle linebacker. Four of the five seasons he has spent in the league have been as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. In 79 games, Brinkley, 29, has collected 159 tackles and produced one sack. He has also forced five fumbles.

The decision to add Brinkley is interesting considering that Rolando McClain, the Cowboys’ second-leading tackler in 2014, remains a free agent. But it could prompt Sean Lee to shift to the weakside position – a move the team officials were considering making if McClain returned to the fold in 2015.

That would close the Peterson door in my opinion.

Love Ridley but he doesn't close the Peterson door

I like the Brinkley signing. Rolondo was a good cheap find but he battled injuries and he is a wildcard off the field.

looks like a starting LB core:

Brinkley MLB
LEE WILL
Hitchens SAM

McFadden and Ridley will be a decent amount of cap money. It would be insane to pay to backups that much if you were going to have the highest paid RB in the league on your roster. But I guess that's never stopped the Cowboys before.
