Dak's going to get about 30 mil if he doesn't sign due to the franchise tag rules

At best, Dak is a 10-12 best QB in the league demanding a 15-18 million per year salary.

The 10th-12th highest paid QBs are making 20 million. That price seems about right for Dak

They need to pay him a lot of money so someone else doesn’t over pay him.

I still see him in the bottom 50% pushing at times to jump into top half. He needs too much expensive talent around him. You can’t over pay him and keep the talent he requires to be even close to being in the top 16 starting qbs in the league. Given what happen after Aikman & when Romo got hurt outside of Dak’s first year Jerry will over pay for stability at QB while core still in place & relatively healthy, and Dak and agent know this.

Joe Burrow has got to see that and be thinking to himself what the $$$$$$$$'s are going to look like when he' s coming up for a contract negotiation, 'cause if Dak can command that, Joe is damn sure going to do better, in the long run.

Sometimes these players get the worst advice.
Dak should have signed that deal before the season.
Dak is nowhere near Russell Wilson's status.

Can't wait till Cowboys lock him up though and sacrifice the rest of the roster for Dak, Cooper and Zeke.

Watch that d and oline fall apart.

Will Cain called Dak an elite QB this past week on ESPN. Can you tell that he’s a Cowboys fan?

Will Cain is an idiot.

Elite is a word people use to get attention.

The problem is the market for a QB who makes the playoffs is $30 million
So many QB's are so overpaid and it hinders the rest of your roster.

I wouldn't give Dak a penny over $20 million.
He took a big risk, gambling he could win the Super Bowl with Dallas and cash in, not gonna happen.

Cousins is overpaid.

There is not much risk in not signing. Dallas franchise tags him for $30ish million next year or he's a free agent and another team pays him $30ish million.
