Regardless of that, do you have any idea how few rebounds are really being affected by that? Like 1-2 a game. Do you have any idea how much more valuable it is to have a big that can space the floor and bring the opposing bigs out of the paint? What Bosh does is invaluable to the Heat. Not all basketball is about bigs rebounding. There are other ways to play.
b/c he plays the 4/5 for the heat and it means he isn't going to be around for boards
edit: After reading more responses, I'm convinced the majority of you did not watch the Heat during the regular season when Wade was still healthy.

op just used d wade and jordan in the same sentence. I've seen it all on the MSB now

They were leaving James wide open from 3 and he wasn't even thinking about shooting them last night on numerous occasions. That little lack of confidence, is one of his flaws IMO. Lebron, can shoot threes with almost anyone, he needs to think the next one is going in even if he is off.

Bron and Wade both need to work on just catching and shooting as if they're wide open, because this series they have been.
You can tell they're both way more comfortable shooting fall aways off the dribble with someone guarding them tightly as opposed to just being wide open which is kind of crazy.
Notice when Lebron is wide open and shoots a jumper, he's still leaning back like someone is guarding him. At one point last night i think Wade caught it for a wide open mid range shot, dribbled in a couple steps to square up the defender only to take a step back jumper to the original spot he caught it. He made the shot with a hand in his face.

Kobe's the same way.

I know Wade can still drive with the best of them when healthy.....right now. He is always banged up at the end of the season though. He is getting older. Just makes sense that the style he plays will need to change if he wants to go another 5 or 6 years.

IMO, he already has a nice mid range jumper. At times he doesn't miss it. He just needs to really develop the consistency there.
This.
Lebron drives and kicks to Wade for an open 3, Wade fakes and drives right to where Lebron just was. He either needs to shoot (and make consistently) the 3 or Lebron needs to just take the shot in the paint

Get your tongue out of MJ's arsehole daze. Wade's style is similar to MJs. No one is saying he as good as MJ was.

I don't know if you can say he has a great mid range jumper.
The spurs have given him a cushion and are daring him to take that shot all series and he is not making them like an elite player should.

Jesus fricking christ dude, no one is fricking bashing Bosh, we're more disappointed in Lebron and Wade that we trust Bosh over them to shoot midrange jumpers. Gtfo with your righteous "you dont watch games" BS.

I know. That is what made me post this. Against the Mavs in 06 he murdered them with that Jumper. If they tried to guard it, he drove to the basket. Right now, he is just trying to go to the basket without even developing himself as a threat to make that shot.

Maybe he knows that was seven years ago and he just simply doesn't have a jump shot like he used to. That's all that really can explain his driving in on the cushion he's getting.
I know you think wade should evolve but maybe he just is not a good jump shooter anymore and he knows it.
I hope you weren't counting on him evolving in one day either. Whatever his issue has been its lingering. Look at the stats of Lebrun with wade and not. Lb is better without him at this point.

Wade has stretches NOW when that shot is going in every time. He hasn't lost his shot. I think his confidence in taking it is obviously down though.

Wade is fine i think when he cleans up his injury he will return to form. No not like when he was 23 but he will still be a top 10 player.

He is probably still a top 5 player when 100%. Its just he can't stay healthy with his style.

he shouldn't have flopped his entire career. has to take a toll on the body.
look at what flopping has done to ginobli

every star in the NBA flops now.

Would be nice. I just do not think he ever returns to top 10 status.
He was about the most reckless and fearless player in the NBA for many years. It has caught up to him the past few years, along with losing some explosiveness as he ages.

not every star is in their 30s w/ bad knees. he should quit flopping to the ground so much.
