quote:It depends on your confidence in your 3rd guy. OSU had won 2 games with 1-0 scores. I would try to save my ace for Monday because under most circumstances, that is who you are going to see on Monday. I thinks it's rare that the loser bracket team comes out of Saturday. I know South Carolina did several years ago.
Is that a typical strategy for the team coming out if the winner bracket? Seems like a gamble.

Really hoping CCU wins tonight

The announcers were saying the grass is high and slowing down the balls in the gap. What is the NCAA trying to accomplish? Attendance was dismal and the two teams playing should be considered as blue bloods regardless of how well their fans may travel.

I do also, but who knows what will happen?
I think Baker may crush one tonight.

There's been no rain so they can't cut it without killing it. The field is playing true as its dry and fast even though somewhat higher than normal
ETA:
That's a new complaint I hadn't heard from LSU/SEC fans.

CCU winning the CWS would be great for college baseball

Why?
Wichita State won it in 1989, didn't really change anything. Large attendance schools continued to dominate.

What would make Omaha go insane and the CWS electric would be either Creighton or NU back in CWS.
KState KU Wichita or MU would pack the park also.
LSU or a southern team never made the CWS jump like when Benes pitched or when Komine pitched.

Make me feel pretty good since NSU defeated Arizona this year. Combined with what I think is a coaching upgrade I am quite excited for the Demons next year.
Enjoyable CWS. Pulling for Coastal.
