So what exactly is this girl trying to get out of this? She wants Ronaldo in jail? Or more money?

Its pretty laughable for someone to return 10 years later to bring something up due to it still morally and mentally bothering them, but asking for money some how puts that to rest? Come on.

The article makes it pretty clear she wants him to own up to it and acknowledge that it happened.

Her main goal in the arbitration was for him to be there and take responsibility for his actions. Decent chance none of this sees the light of day if he had just shown up to the arbitration.

Also he could have just not raped the chick. That was another option.

Well, in short if you mean problems getting women to hook up with or having women who want a relationship with me, you would be wrong. If you mean problems with women lying, of course experienced plenty of that. As far as women being whores, no I dont think women are whores if you mean women like sex too, some more than men. I've been with several that were hornier than me and wanted it all the time. I would be a hypocrite to call a woman a whore for liking sex or even having a lot of partners as both apply to me as well and I dont play that double standard game with the word whore. Now if your definition of where is a woman using a man for money or trying to get money out of a man for whatever reason, then I'll agree with that.

Now, back to the subject at hand.

She can pay the money back then and he can own up to it.

And she didnt have to steal $400k from him, that would be another option.

Oh yeah, LOL.

She only asked for $400k when he didnt show up I'm sure. Haha. Phone call to say, hey come here, I want to see you face to face and have my say then i will sign a NDA, and not ask for $1 and never speak of this again would have been about 1 million percent acceptable.

She also wanted her therapy paid for.

The therapy that a forensic psych determined was needed as a result of the accused's actions.

There's nothing unreasonable about that request.

Some of you are so quick to claim women are money grubbing whores. If this were my sister/friend I would want her to come forward even if she was paid hush money.

If the article is accurate, then Ronaldo should be publicly shamed because I am sure there are other women he did this too. His fame gives him immense power and there are probably other women too intimidated to tell their story. One coming forward may prevent him from doing this in the future.

Look, if you ask for a lot of money and sign an agreement specifically not to talk about something, you dont talk about it. It isnt complicated.

If you want to pursue criminal charges, then you go that route.

This woman took a shitload if money, quit her job, drank and partied for 365 days in a row, wished for God to strike someone down and now is back to going after him 9 years later.

If she changed her mind after 9 years (which would still be bullshite but people seem to have a hard time doing what they say and keeping their word at times) pay the 375k back, not the legal or other fees but the straight cash, then try and get Ronaldo put in jail. I have no problem with that.

What I do have a problem with is a liar and a thief. And frankly bottom line, this woman took about 400k of someone else's money and signed a contract that she did not perform under (and performing just meant do nothing). That is theft and lying.

If he raped her, which he admitted he did, he deserves to lose the $400k and for her to revoke the NDA and bring it up again AND not give him the money back. I'm good with this...because of the rape.

And I'd say that he got to avoid going to jail...because of the rape...he should probably be good with that too.

I'm not. Someone's word and signing of a legal document should mean something.

I understand people seem to lack integrity these days though.

So pay back the guy that, ya know, raped her?
