I'd rather keep building the way we are and have the AD/Len or CJ or Saric or Burke or etc pain train tear up the league in a few years

It is not always a good thing to build a NBA team through the draft. Some of the best teams in the NBA are built through FA. I know that the OKCs and the SAs of the world had their most productive players coming out of the draft. Those type of things are luck, and you'll never know what you'll get with every draft class.

I like trains much better than wagons so I'll go with you But I would rather see Len in New Orleans. Build from the inside out

It's a pipe dream to think that the rockets could land both. Lin has a big contract, Asik is due a large amount of money, Parsons will get paid next season, Harden's contract is backloaded like a mother.

They could probably find a team to take Asik without sending any salary back, and I think they can dump Lin and TRob if they include Parsons. Of course Houston fans hate that idea and think they'll be able to somehow have CP3/Harden/Parsons/Motiejunas?/Howard, but that's not going to happen. Parsons has a bright future but you obviously give him up if it means having that big 3.

We've already got awesome depth at PF

I just want a big bodied C that can defend and rebound. I would love if we signed someone like Aaron Gray. I'd love to have that guy back

I think Hawks has the best chance to get both of them and also if they like they can put Horford in a trade for a high draft pick if they want.

dumping your best player doesn't seem like a great idea. Bring in Paul and Howard and let Horford play the 4 where he should have been all along.

You think that Houston would have to trade Parsons to get someone to take Lin's 2 year/16 million deal?

Yeah I know

My point was that building from the inside out we're already set at one position. And since we will be getting a good bit of offense from there, we don't really need a great player at C, just a guy that can rebound and defend. I don't doubt Len can do that, but I'd rather take a guy like CJ that can make an immediate impact and find a Center in FA
