the only thing I’m speculating on is him having done something more serious to react this way to a speeding violation and him potentially having had intentions of using his firearm against the police

HOWEVER

1. Why would anyone behave this way when facing a potential routine traffic stop otherwise?

2. The fact he armed himself before fleeing shows he wasn’t in a state of panic, that was intentional, cognizant decision. And if he were simply trying to flee peacefully, not only would there have been no motivation to waste extra time staying in the vehicle longer in order grab a weapon, but doing so would have been detrimental to what he was trying to accomplish

Maybe he was simply trying to avoid a weapons charge as it would have been discovered when the vehicle was searched, but the guy did literally kill himself

I mean those two assumptions are pretty massive, don't you think?

why am I a piece of shite again?

You know you are, you don't need me to explain it. But,

quote:

expressing outrage/empathy for every other person involved, who were completely innocent, and for what they had to go through/how their trauma is being completely disregarded.

His family was innocent too, yet you aren't expressing any outrage for them. They are suffering too and yet you somehow are calling them a piece of shite for simply saying they miss him and wish for some privacy. You know, perfectly understandable feelings after losing a loved one.

And you're in here talking about all that the innocent had to go through aand their trauma. They literally just got in a car crash and weren't injured physically. Yes, she might have some emotional trauma, she'll get over her car crash trauma after she gets a settlement check I'm sure.

Their family member killed himself, that's hard to process and a lot to deal with, they didn't need to take the time in their message to address some made up issue that you've come up with. It's not disregarded, it's simply not worth mentioning in a letter addressing their family members death.

We don’t give a shite, this sounds like a prime example of fricking around and finding out. Running from a crash with a gun in hand is some GTA shite, no sympathy.

So you have nothing to back it up, but what I’ve said somehow offends you and thus want to believe something patently false in what I can only describe as some obscure coping mechanism.

Let’s say Kneeland went on a shooting spree instead, would you still think the message from the family was appropriate? Because given how and where he was driving, his actions could have easily caused a multi-vehicle collision resulting in several fatalities, which at the end of the day would have had the same impact. One person making a conscious decision that ends in the deaths of several innocent bystanders.

We have no idea what’s the status of the victim, she could easily have degenerative spinal issues moving forward that’s yet to be revealed. Or hell, maybe she’ll have CTE given the concussion apparently sustained. Or the police who had to fear for their lives searching for him. Or the countless lives he put at risk fleeing from the cops driving 160 MPH on a busy tollway.

But ya, his light sure shined bright on all those lives he touched last night

Reports of a welfare check and they didn't make contact with him. Then a crashed car with him in it with a possible self inflicted gunshot wound. So sad if true.

Their welfare check occurred after he crashed.

Kneeland was calling and texting family goodbye while he was the run sometime after 10:30pm. Frisco PD and Texas troopers were involved in the initial pursuit.

Meanwhile, his family and girlfriend contacted the Cowboys and Plano PD after receiving disturbing messages from Kneeland. Plano PD conducted the welfare check at his house around 11:00pm.

There were multiple agencies searching for Kneeland around the same time for different reasons. The timeline gets confusing.
