In 2010, Romo did not face a team that finished 8-8, which probably saved him from a couple more INTs. That is, if you subscribe to the theory that randomly assembled stats from the past are indicative of future performance. A more reasonable assumption could be that this 8-8 anomaly for Romo was perhaps a team-wide issue of underestimating a still dangerous but perhaps uninspiring opponent.

This part?

Of course, Romo still plays golf and occasionally wears his hat backwards, so he can't really be any good, right?

Or this?

I almost put him below Flacco as well (Flacco has a better playoff record).

Vick has more athleticism and a better playoff record.

Ryan makes better decisions with the ball (similarly bad playoff record, though).

Newton looks like a Vick clone except bigger, faster, younger, and with a better arm.

Rivers has more talent but they're both about equal in the clutch.

Schaub is a vastly superior QB (especially in passing yards) despite his health issues.

Eli Manning may be a dolt in the regular season, but he's got 2 superbowl rings.

Rothlesburgers got multiple rings.

Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers are the elite of the NFL (and all have Superbowl rings), no doubt about it.

You should just be happy that I ranked Romo above Cutler and Flacco.

you might want to do some re-checking of the facts for Vicks playoff record. Since being out of the pokey, it hasn't worked real well for him. And you know, since you seem to base a QB's worth ONLY on how well his team performs in the playoffs.

And that is is, in a nutshell what is wrong with the Cowboys. The playoffs don't matter. the Championships don't matter. We are the Cowboys.

If the cowboys are a playoff team this year, it won't be because of Romo (maybe in spite of him), it will be because of Rob Ryan's defense. They are loaded with talent in their front seven and appear to be well coached.

Tony Romo, 2nd highest QB rating in the history of the NFL.

I don't even like Romo that much but the blind hate on here and from the media just because he is Romo and he is the QB of Dallas is unreal. He is in the top 10 QBs in the league and anyone that says otherwise knows nothing about the game.

He's a respectable QB. He's not great, but he's a better than average NFL QB. I have him at #11.

I would take Brees, Rothlesburger, Rivers (albeit barely), Ryan, Peyton Manning (in his current state), Brady, Schaub (again in his current state), Vick, Newton, Rodgers, and even Eli Manning over Tony Romo when it counts in a big game.

Well at least we know how retarded you are now

More athleticism yes, better quarterback, not at all. Has he ever even played a complete season?

When Romo comes through and has success in the playoff will he just jump up to 6 or 7 on your list? Oh wait, later you say that if they do succeed it will be "in spite of" Romo. You, sir, are an idiot.

Romo played great last night, but the game last night has me thinking......can you really determine a team's skill after they play the Giants in the regular season? i know they are the defending world champs, but they always seem to be garbage early in the season.....regardless of who they play.

OAN: i'm glad to see Mo playing CB again...he did pretty well for his first real NFL game. hell, he even got a taste of a NFL stiff arm..... all jokes aside, i think he is going to be a top NFLn corner real soon....

Last time they won the super bowl they started the next season 10-1 I believe. Up until Plax shot himself in the leg.

you're a clown...i can just see you foaming at the mouth with unjustified hate all season...watching him go 11-5 and getting to at least a divisional playoff game is gonna make you suicidal! Romo haters have the shittiest sense of reality of any fans I've seen!

And I'm not a Cowboys fans, just don't understand the hate Romo recieves...usually no rationale behind it!
