Looks like they beefed up their schedule with a bunch of 4a/5a schools and it led to more losses. Obviously helped them get to state though

This is a down OCS team. They’ve had teams in the past that could play with anyone in the state. They’ve sent kids to LSU/Texas etc. Definitely a team you never want to count out. Not a shock due to their pedigree, but a bit of a surprise. When I saw them this year they didn’t look like a team to win state. Give them credit for getting better every day and playing their best when it matters.

I didn't think this was their best year.
When teams are historically used to playing in May they have a big advantage.

OCS is a baseball powerhouse. Not shocking

OCS winning is not shocking at all.

ANYONE putting up double digit runs on CCA was extremely shocking.

They had only given up 26 runs on the season coming in. Destrehan scored 4 and Erath scored 5. No one else touched them.

Very impressive job by OCS!
