One getting paid to be there! Hell most of the guys on tour are trading hundreds or thousands of dollars everyday they are not in a tournament anyway, just a way to hedge their bets...Rickie and Tiger have a weekly game at Isleworth FWIW

Put a pro (or retired pro) against 3 folks with a handicap total of 20 and it would be interesting..

Sponsors could give equipment to the foursome if they win and gift cards to places like golf galaxy. If the pro wins money is donated to charity. Win win.

I think is more on MasterCard/netJets/Amex...secondary sponsors who would want it more, that's where most of the money for the pro's are anyway.

5 or 6 people who shoot in the 80s on your weekend courses, maybe. You people also aren't playing 7300 yard courses. I think it'd be a lot closer than most think.

Guy I know plays with Jhonathan Vegas and the play 3 man best ball vs him. He normally shoots 64-66 and he wins all the time. These guys are hi 80's shooters with one hi 70's.
Talked to him today. Said Nike froze his deal because he is out 6-7 months.
