Damn so I missed the boat?. I could have gotten one for 35 million a few years ago?

ehh.. In 2006 Toronto got in w/an expansion fee of $10 million. LAFC paid $110 million in 2014. The commissioner of MLS has said he expects it to eventually hit $200 million w/total costs running over $300 million.

The time to get a group of investors to run a team on a shoe string budget and then sell to somebody for profit has passed.

Yeah, I'd say Atlanta has proven they can handle an MLS franchise just fine. City has fully embraced the five stripes.

they didn't even put a big in during the MLS expansion process.

But are now trying to steal a team bc the owner doesn't want to fund his own stadium.

Its all a Ponzi scheme bc MLS is not making money.

how in the hell could they frick up the lower bowl that badly in a brand new stadium? Especially one that they were lauding for soccer. The ancient Superdome has a better layout for soccer than that.
