There’s a difference between fund raisers and beggars. You usually provide a service when you fundraise. This year our team held a sporting clay event and we had people lining up to participate. The kids worked hard, sponsors benefited, and everyone had a great time. None of them did it because we were begging - they wanted to shoot, eat, and drink beer. We raised a grip too.

Money will go to other tournaments. Most of the money was raised through football pools and fish frys. There was no begging involved. The 50/50 pools raised a very large chunk. Dabeerz is a fricking pussy. People like him suck the marrow out of life. Not all fundraisers are people begging for money or rip people off you fricking terd blossom. We have friends who's son was supposed to go to Cooperstown this summer. They are far from OT rich.
The only thing they did to fund raise was sell squares for a Super Bowl pool. I bought ten squares.
Last I heard they were trying to find another cross country tournament at the last minute as a consultation.
