Henry would be dare I say "considerably" faster now that Zeke is just a football player too

That'a silly assertion to make and you know it.

help build speed. Which is why it is hilarios Henry was faster while not training. Now that Zeke isnt doing track training, Henry would blow his doors off.
What evidence do you have that their "training" was different up until their sophomore year .

Besides, if training does help, then that extra two years would have benefited Elliott. Yet, you have to completely dismiss that to assume that "Henry" would blow his doors off.

At the very least, their speed is comparable.

I said he was fast from the very first post.

But just because another fan made a stupid claim, does not excuse your claim that lacks evidence and logic. Fighting stupidity with stupidity it not a valid argument.

And Henry only ran 6 races his entire High School career and still matched the super fast Zeke who ran over 100 races

That, added to the size difference, makes Henry's speed much more impressive. When Zeke breaks a long run, it's impressive. When Henry breaks a long run, it jumps off the screen and you can tell you're watching something that isn't normal.

Zeke is the better RB, I'm just speaking to their speed.

Henry will easily beat Elliott from the chairs to the podium. That's all the speed he needs.

Agreed. Henry seems like a stand up guy so I def see him being the first to shake Leonards hand after Buga gives his speech

There is no way to honestly say that Henry is appreciably faster. Besides, we are basing the "6 meets" from a site that does not include all the meets. And since he didn't make it out of districts, there is less data. So by that logic, it's a negative to make it further because there will be more data. That's just a poor use of the data.

Are you this stupid or did you not see Zeke run away from the Alabama secondary with Jalin Marshall passing the Alabama players in pursuit?
Almsot all of Zeke's yards were due to Alabama players not filling gaps. Zeke is the man, but his long runs in the Sugar Bowl weren't all that great. He had 5 and 6 yard runs that showed more of his ability than the longer ones. The stiff arm and hurdle on the one to the right was nice, though.

Eh, I don't really care who is faster. Although, I think Henry is the faster of the two. Either way, at their size, Henry's speed is more impressive.

Well then you can take away Henrys Miss State game then He was shut down until the play where State ran the magical 3-3-5. I mean how stupid was that? Shutting Bama down all half and you swith up to the 3-3-5 and let Henry go 70 yards untouched

I don't know the accuracy but they see only listed as 7 pounds apart. I would suspect it's larger than that though.

You're right. That was absurd The only thing that run showed was Henry's speed. Same with the run against Wisconsin where he jus hopped through the line and was gone to the house. He had much more impressive runs against LSU, even if they weren't 70 yard TDs.

Zeke is pretty thick, but Henry has to be much larger than him, doesn't he??? Lacy's weight was similar. I'm pretty sure he was WAY heavier than what Alabama listed him at.

The 85 yard run was due to great blocking at the LOS by the linemen and a devastating block from the outside by Evan Spencer.

As with any back, blocking is the key.

Zeke showed great patience and vision as well. That play was a typical Alabama defense of the run. Push the run as far to the sideline as you can, fill the gaps, and give the RB nowhere to go. The blocking was great and Zeke waited until he had a hole.

Last year's Alabama defense was SO inconsistent. Ragland and Landon were pretty much the only 2 sure run stoppers on plays like that. Once they got hurt and started coming out, Alabama was vulnerable as hell. Y'all took full advantage

Do you think this year's defense is that much better than last year? I mean, they finished #2 in the country last year for rushing and #4 for scoring, even after Zeke put 230 on them.

I hope there's a rematch. Should be fun.

No bologna, this defense isn't even on the same planet as last year's.

My dream scenario is for Alabama to beat Clemson in the semifinals then play y'all in the championship. Someone make it happen!

I'm not sold yet, and it's not because I think this defense isn't good, I just think last year's was pretty good too.
