You chose Notre Dame over that.

But they’re soooooooooo smart.

The UGA-ND game lived up to its hype. I don’t blame CBS one bit especially since LSU-Alabama hadn’t been competitive recently.

I am too. Did you see how frenzied those Pom poms waived when they got to play with their light show in the stadium?

But it wasn't anywhere near the ratings they have gotten from LSU/Bama over the years. UGA/ND got 9.29 which would be sixth out of the past nine primetime SEC games on CBS (all of which were Bama/LSU dating back to 2011)

I can’t blame CBS, but the SEC should be pissed. They didn’t negotiate a cheap and exclusive deal with CBS so that the network could feature Notre Dame in its single prime time broadcast of the season.

The SEC can’t get away from CBS soon enough. It’s the worst deal is sports.

Agreed. There is no chance they get that large of a rating during the day. Then LSU/Bama pulls a 9.7 overnight rating. The highest of any regular season college football game in 8 years.

Why doesn't CBS just air more than one primetime game a season?

When will then be now?

because that's ESPN's timeslot. Contract says they can only use it once per season.

Think the game was the most watched game since the 2011 game.

I think they will still sell ad spots just fine lol
