where do i begin?
you basically are calling the poor grieving parents "stupid" on this page.
quote:
my parents were smart enough to not let me go on SB at 17 unsupervised
bunch of other shite on the previous pages.
maybe you are the one spouting off at the mouth and should probably zip it. i'm not getting into an argument on this topic b/c it's sensitive stuff, just stop acting all high and mighty. you're not perfect, neither are your parents.

when you are that stupid, naive, and clueless, you really have no shot to begin with.

as if you had any idea who I am. Get a frickin clue this is a message board. You don't know me and don't even try and act like you do. Most people that REALLY know me would say i'm very mature for my age.

wow. You have some major issues. btw if you went to spring break 5 or less years ago you aren't that much older than me.

who said I was perfect, or my parents are perfect??
ive been to SB, my parents went to SB,,, we both knows what goes on.
its not suitable for a 17 year old kid, esp 1000 miles away from home.
if thats too harsh for you, then im sorry. That's just reality. You dont have to be a genius to make rational decisions.

bro, are you serious. this is not the thread to talk shite to other posters in. i don't know adam, and he might be an immature little kid, don't know.
but what does that make you? someone with over 100,000 posts, who i'm guessing is a grown man, calling a little 17 year old (minor) high school kid a douche. classy

I'm imagining he's got 10 years on you. And that's a big difference from 17 to 27 lol.

what you are typing makes it appear that way.

immature little kid,
Is 17 little? the criminal justice system doesn't and neither do the branches of the military.
Everyone adult I know says I'm mature for my age.

when you're 17 chances are you don't drive anywhere besides school, possibly work, and friend's houses. driving 1000 miles away from home for days at a time is a big deal. i consider my parents pretty laid back and there's no way in hell they would have let me do that.

ill say this, i would be a little hesitant letting my child go that far unsupervised(assuming he was) and knowing alcohol will be involved
however, i wouldnt call this "horrible" or "irresponsible" parenting.
people are only saying that because something tragic happened...if he came back safe and sound, i doubt anyone would say that

no doubt. However, so is leaving on your own in college and these 17 year olds will be doing that soon.

adam, the other guys were saying this. i was not calling you little or immature, just playing along.
and once again, how does everyone on here know that the parents weren't with him? how do yall know other parents weren't there? why jump to conclusions and call out the parents?

again, you don't have to be perfect to make rational and responsible decisions both as a parent and a young adult.
yall are way too sensitive too, fwiw.
