I am so sick of this crap and the uneveness that results because of it.

3 BCS Conferences play one, the other 3 don't. That's unacceptable.

Either make all BCS Conferences have one or drop them completely.

i like the fact that we have one. the one thing that i look forward to every year is if lsu can make it to this game. but, i do agree that every conference should have one or play every team in their conference.

Blame your conferences and their greediness.

Conference championship games give your team something to shoot for at the end of the season, lets fans see what should be a good game in most cases, gives the conference a true champion, and generates revenue. It sounds like a good idea to me.

Conference championship games were created as a means to raise more revenue for the conference - not as a ploy to determine a champion.

and yet, it gives our fans a "true" champion avoiding any controversy of having a co-champ and who deserves to be co-champ in the event of a three way tie.

oh, another thing. when it comes to greed, your commisioner is the champion. he is the only one who doesn't want a playoff system in order to receive the rose bowl royalties.

Not saying it doesn't produce a champion but thats wasn't the primary goal of its inception.

And FWIW, I wish everything was an 8 team conference that did a round robin scheduling. Even when there's a conference championship game you still have teams dodging others...like Kansas last year didn't have to play OU/Texas/Texas Tech - its equally retarded as the Big10's system.

Only 2 of the 6 conferences (SEC and I want to say Big East, but not sure) were for a playoff. I don't know why people place all the blame on the Big 10 for keeping the BCS.

Another shitty product of conference championship games is determining who is the second on back in the conference - it just makes it more confusing. For example, Tenn played in the SECCG so even though they lost they should have still been #2 in the conference, right? If two teams have an equal record in two separate divisions how is one higher than the other? EDIT: what is one division is considerable more loaded with good teams than the other?

Honestly championship games generate more problems then they solve.
