Of course they want to kill the ACC. It started by killing the Big East. They tried killing the Big 12. They successfully killed the Pac 12. They are working on a two conference league. The Big 10 and SEC. Rumors of this has been around for decades. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention.

2 mega conferences. No NCAA involvement

They played their schedule. And the worst team on it was UMass. The rest were decent to middling G5 opponents. Tell me you have not watched a Liberty game without telling me you haven’t watched a Liberty game.

Their SOS is 133/133.

And you point is, what? A Bama fan actually believes there is a conspiracy to have a weak schedule?

So your position is that liberty’s schedule being pathetic and the literal worst in the country is a conspiracy theory?

Know thy enemy.

The B1G commish duped the Pac12 and ACC into an "Alliance." Then they proceed to eat their very prey. Had the ACC and Florida State not been so childish and impetuant, they should have clearly seen that they had a ready-made playoff system and a very easy path to get there, every single year.

Instead, they let all the propaganda coming from the B1G decide for them and then watched as the B1G proceeded to turn at their own convenience and eat them alive.

The ACC, FSU president and AD publically blocked for the "Alliance" and now they can't get into a 4 team Playoff that could have been 12 this season.

And for all you other sheep ignoring who really is to blame, cry me a river.

It is the schedule they have. Care to explain how they could have a different schedule in their first year of conference play? Or show me a P5 team that was willing to schedule them and Liberty would not accept the invitation? Your argument falls apart. Schedules are set years in advance. They played what they played and they won.

Wait a minute, this sounds a lot like what the committee chair said on tv when justifying the liberty ranking.

Does this mean you’re finally going to attempt to reconcile the committee punishing Florida st for things they had not control over, but not liberty?

And to be clear, I’m not talking about the fiesta bowl committee

I do not care what happened with FSU. That is their issue to address. We played our schedule and won every game. That is all there is to it.

3-9 CUSA W
10-2 Big 12 L
6-6 SWAC W
5-7 Big 12 L
3-9 AAC W
2-10 AAC W
3-9 AAC W
4-8 AAC W
6-6 AAC W
5-7 AAC W
9-3 AAC W
5-6 AAC W

One regular season win against an opponent with a winning record (9-3 AAC).

Powerhouse.

Replace those 2 bolded games with umass and Buffalo, and that schedule starts to look very familiar.

Oh, and why did you specifically list “regular season” games? Are conference championship games not considered in the committee’s ranking decisions?

And once again, for the record, I’m not talking about the fiesta bowl committee.

They won one regular season against an opponent with a winning record. One.

Two P5 teams (one with a losing record) made them a cupcake. Oof.

Sorry, but it is what it is.

Which P5 team tried to schedule Liberty in 2023? The last one that did lost their 100th homecoming game to Liberty.

Oof.

And the AAC or what ever the frick it's called is shitty.

UTSA, memphis, etc were garbage and Tulane got waxed by a backup qb in aac championship game. all fluff with this conference.

How many p5 teams did liberty play?

How many ranked teams did liberty play?

Which player or position is acceptable to be injured for the committee to decide it’s not worth punishing his team?

I can’t decide what’s more indicative of how small time you are: thinking what happened last year is at all relevant to this year, or thinking homecoming is worth mentioning at all.

I’m sure the hallmark channel would include both storylines in your heart warming movie though.
