The fact that so many people think fruity arse YouTuber Jake Paul is going to knock out Ben Askren I.E. the guy that didn’t get knocked out by Robbie Lawler, tells me that the promoters for this fight are among the best in the world

Jake Paul is either going to get the absolute shite beaten out of him, or the fight is going to be boring and Paul is going to dance around en route to getting a decision from the Money Team judges who are paid to let him win so they can keep raking in PPV cash by pretending that this kid can fight

He will either crush askren in the first round or askren stretches it out trying to wear Paul down by clinching him and being a little dirty all fight. I’m not paying money for this stupid shite but that’s my amateur analysis

No way, lawler was out. You could see his hand drop. Regardless, he wasn’t getting out of that bulldog choke with askren on the grip.

actually a great fight on the undercard. Should be an interesting matchup bw 2 heavyweight grapplers.

Anyone riding with El Guapo or does King Kong get it done?

Most fighters aren’t making 500k a fight. Nobody is turning down an easy 500k. That’s why you saw so many fighters saying they would fight him just to frick him up.

And? thats only a small part of what I was saying. Yes people want the money, I also think a lot of fighters also have the self respect to not just be the prop for Jake Paul to rake it in and make some extra cash

I reiterate: Jake Paul only wants to fight Conor McGregor because its a big payday for him, he won't fight someone else who can kick his arse because nobody will care to watch him get his arse beat unless its by someone with clout.

How do I buy the Askren Paul fight? I said I wouldn’t but I can’t help myself after a couple of white cans.

Gravely looked good right there. I thought he was going to end the fight a couple of times.

I'm not buying because they aren't giving Ben any of the ppv money. He's been promoting this fight on almost every single podcast I listen to, he even went on Logan Paul's podcast and got more views than Jake got on the same podcast. I'm sure there will be a few links eventually.

I will say this, I'm more intrigued about this fight than anything I can think of in the past. I don't think Jake has it mentally but he has been training for 3 years, but he's never fought anyone that has experience. We all know Ben isn't the best striker but he's a hell of an athlete with stamina and he's eaten many big hits with mma gloves.

If Ben can get out of the first two rounds without being knocked out he has a great shot to either knock Jake out or push Jake to the end. Jake will have so much adrenalin going in and Ben will be calm. I expect Ben to keep it tight and dirty with clenching and pulling Jake's head down and sneaking in some dirty punches. I also wouldn't be surprised if Ben takes him down with a wrestling move.

Totally agree. I just bet the under and hope it’s a quick one either way.

Also glad the Stephens/Klose fight got canceled bc I bet Klose and if that push at weigh ins is what injured him enough to cancel this fight then he never had a chance.

the Stephens fight got cancelled because of that push during the face offs. What an idiot.

Why would they cancel the fight just because he pushed him?

Klose is saying it injured him

ETA: and if you watch closely you can see the injury. When Stephens pushes him his knee does come up and make slight contact with Klose’s vagina.

Absolutely world class refereeing by Herb there. Dude went to sleep as he started to tap but he was in there just a few seconds later. If he hadn’t recognized he was out, he was in a position that he could’ve sat in for another 15 seconds before a different ref would see he was unconscious
