Colt's legacy will be remembered as getting outplayed by Stephen McGee and getting beat by A&M.

Is Adrian Peterson's legacy at Oklahoma only about injuries?
He was injured 2/3 of his career.
Peterson's injuries are overhyped. He wasn't "Injured" nearly as much as people discussed his injuries.

To me his whole injury reeked of "gotta stay healthy for the draft" bull shite.
as opposed to not playing and cultivating his perceived rep by some as a guy that cant stay healthy and didnt play in the biggest game of his life because of concerns about the draft?
if he could play don't you think he would have?

Not play, pass it off as some significant temporal injury... tell scouts it breaks your heart you couldn't play in the biggest game of your life yatta yatta yatta.

He looked scared to me.
I've seen that hit probably 15 times and it's a hit you see on a weekly basis in the SEC and in the NFL. You're telling me that hit put a QB out for a game? A hit where he stood right up, looked fine and ran to the sideline to get checked?
So to summarize he gets hit in his lower back but he hurt his shoulder which now somehow actually his inability to feel his arm and that he could throw the ball but he didn't know where to?
And this is all because Colt got hit in the "just the right spot?"
Seems like concocted bullshite to me.

maybe he didnt want to get exposed by BAMA's defense which could lower his stock.

probably knew he couldn't take two back-to-back shitacular performances into the draft.

I'm sorry, are you a trainer or a doctor?

vs Nebraska 20/36 184yds 0td/3int
a repeat performance like that, and he would be praying to get drafted in the 3rd.

did you happen to notice a barely prepared true freshman was picking Bama apart when his WRs werent outright dropping balls and he was semi accurate with his throws? I am pretty sure McCoy wanted to play but he couldnt feel his arm.

Legacy? The kid won more games than any other QB in the history of D-1 football. If I'm not mistaken, he set a record for efficiency last year. One Crabtree catch from playing in last year's NC. Two-time Heisman finalist. And he is a great representative for the school.
As a UT fan, I'm disappointed in the outcome of last night's game. But I couldn't ask for more from the kid. The way he plays the game, he is more prone to get injured.
Even if he didn't win the biggest games or win the Heisman, I'd much prefer Colt's legacy over that other QB recruit: RP.

I don't feel this way........McCoy could have came back in the game and hand the ball off for a few series and at least got a feel for the shoulder. I mean not feeling it is a lot different that it hurts like hell.
Never once during the hit or after did I really see any facial grimacing from Colt. Especially after. He didn't get put in a sling or take his pads off either which I find odd if I'm the caretaker.
Colt botched the toughness factor long ago IMO.
Byron Leftwich got carried by OL in a bowl game. Rothlisberger played with a shoulder injury. Favre with broken fingers and the list goes on.
ITS THE FREAKING MNC..........you have to will your team a little bit. If Colt is in the game on the 2 short field drives Bama can't stack the line.

RP had that gash on his finger in which was just gushing out blood, still came back to finish the game. (SECCG)

I would be pissed that apparently I had a bitch for a QB.

what part of he said his arm was completely numb, he had no pain because he said he couldn't feel anything are you struggling with?

Completely numb sounds serious........enough to warrant a neurologist consult and immediate attention in an ICU.......completely numb means the nerve is damaged, severed, or contused. More likely contused which means once the bruise heals the numbness goes away. I PROMISE YOU.......football players have played with far worse pain than numbness in the arm.
Ben Rothlisberger was throwing the other day bullets with a Grade I shoulder dislocation.
