From Austin-Statesman:

Colt McCoy pinched a nerve in his right shoulder while being tackled by an Alabama defensive end early in the national championship game Thursday night. John Bianco, a football team spokesman, said McCoy has been told to rest his shoulder then rehabilitate it. McCoy said late Thursday that his right shoulder wasn’t painful. Rather, he lost strength in it. He suffered a somewhat similar injury his freshman season against Kansas State, when he pinched a nerve in his neck/shoulder area. He aggravated the injury 12 days later and was not cleared for full contact for about a month.

Legacy? The kid won more games than any other QB in the history of D-1 football. If I'm not mistaken, he set a record for efficiency last year. One Crabtree catch from playing in last year's NC. Two-time Heisman finalist. And he is a great representative for the school.

As a UT fan, I'm disappointed in the outcome of last night's game. But I couldn't ask for more from the kid. The way he plays the game, he is more prone to get injured.

Even if he didn't win the biggest games or win the Heisman, I'd much prefer Colt's legacy over that other QB recruit: RP.

Right or wrong, I showed it to my 9-year old as an anti-drug message. I think it should be mandatory to watch @ some age.Bias himself was a great talent. I'm not giving him a pass, but the interviews w/ his buddies really pissed me off.
The repeated stories regarding Leach & James quickly turned me off. It ruined what the bowls are about: chance to watch two unfamiliar teams play their asses off b/c its the last game.
Charles Haney has been handcuffed too long on the postgame show. After listening to him Friday bight, I see a want in him getting back to a unrestricted show.
I was a witness to Buddy being called a pussy. Said it 3 times on live air. Classic!

I wish Handergrif would come back on air. It took me awhile to enjoy his old show. He eventually grew on me w/ is broad knowledge.

I thought the Water Boys were witty, but couldn't satsify the die hard sports radio listeners. I liked them, but I was in the minority.

Any indication of whether or not they are going to include local shows?

ESPN Radio may not be "spicy" and you might not get sausage (n offense to Manda Fine Meats). . .but it is a break from hearing the same old crap from the same local callers every day.

Bernie Kosar looked wasted.
Caller dropped the p word three times before Scone could drop him off the air. I think Buddy will be cleaning his pants @ the break.
